I have to admit I was a little hesitant to post a comment because I’m not a florist, nor a farmer. Instead I’m a city girl that tries to make the most of her tiny outdoor garden and every sunny window in my home. Next season I would like to grow flowers that I could use for my own “local bouquet”. :)
I would love to attend one of your workshops on bouquet design, but also a workshop that help me create my own garden. Again, its definitely not on the same scale as a farm, but I would love some tips/pointers on growing dahlias, selecting the right flowers for your zone, pitfalls to avoid, troubleshooting, etc. Prior to finding your site, I was dead set on only growing strawberries and grapes, after admiring all of your photos, I would love to try growing dahlias or even mums as you’ve mentioned in one of your other posts.
Have a great day!
