I have to admit, I still don’t quite believe that it’s actually happening.

This book has been a serious labor of love and to celebrate the official on sale date of the book, I am planning a big ole’ party and YOU are invited!   Please join me at:

Floret Erin With Book-0010

Over the past few days, I’ve spent many hours signing stacks and stacks (and more stacks!) of books. My hand is still a little cramped, but the pain was quickly overshadowed by excitement as I watched the first first big shipment of signed books from the Floret Shop loaded up to be shipped out to flower lovers around the world.

As the Floret Team was packing the books, we decided to tuck a few surprises into some of the shipping boxes. So if you were among the first to order a signed copy through the Floret Shop, you might find a little something extra in your package. It is just a little way to express my big thanks for all the early support for the book.

As we are preparing for the celebration event, I’d love to know some of your book-related questions. If you have something you’d like to ask during the event, post it in the comments below (there is also a field when you register).  I’ll do my best to answer as many questions as possible during the live event.  I can’t wait to celebrate with you!

While I like reading publications, I am especially fond of exquisite blogs, which are one of my favorite genres. Nonetheless, since my excitement is interfering with my academic performance, I have chosen to seek aid from https://www.trustmypaper.com/ in order to finish my dissertation on time. The fact that I doing so benefited me in a variety of ways, and the fact that I produced well-written essays aided in my improved grade point average.

I got my book today and the few little extras y’all placed in there and I nearly cried. I’m so overwhelmingly excited. I’m going to have to recalculate my garden spacing with the couple of new seeds types to try. I found the package at my door and when I saw it was from Floret I just sat down in my doorway and stared at it, and tried to compose myself. I can’t really convey over a blog comment how over-the-moon I am about this, but I wanted to at least try to share my excitement.

I’ve thought of another question! Regarding finances and budgeting: do you have a set budget? Gretel and Steve’s presentation was incredibly helpful – they get a loan and pay it back every year, but that’s not necessarily an option for everyone. How do you deal with start-of-season costs?

Hi Erin! So happy to get this book in my hands soon. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I guess if I had a question, it would be about selling at the markets, better. Living in a rural community, I can’t seem to get the people as fired up about local flowers as I am. The next town is larger, but 30 miles away. Any advice for me? Should I leave my area, and go to a larger city? Try a different selling strategy in my areas? Maybe this will be in the book. If it is, then I’ll know what to do. Thanks, and flower love to you.

Yay! Can’t wait to join the party and celebrate your hard dedication to this amazing book.

How large of garden do you think would be most doable for a mom of three under 5 to take on for her first growing season as a flower farmer?

My question for you is what grows the best for you in the hottest dryest parts of your garden? I am from the phoenix area and would love to know more about any warm climate plants. I ordered your book and I am super excited to get it! I also ordered tons of seeds and have been trying loads of them to see what will grow here and when! LOVING IT!

Also what do you do for fun…i know you love to garden but what else brings you joy? thanks so much!

Is there a way that the book can give you a solid planting and succession schedule for your area, ie. I live in the mountains of western NC. Also, is there a special detail section for different locations such as what does best in the south east in your farmer florest opinion for weddings vs. the cut flower business.

Thank you Erin, can’t wait to celebrate with you and get my book in the mail.
    Cheers!

Really looking foward to the Floret event! UK time could mean my little ones have a later bathtime on Tuesday!?
Question: Did you undertake any gardening pilgrimages to write your book?
