snuck into an abandoned house today.
the kids and i have been eying the old place for years. so many hours of stories have come from daydreaming about its history.
minutes after i coached them to walk in with authority, chin high, chest out, so we wouldn’t get hassled by the locals, i hear shouted from across the street “hey, you, that’s private property!”
so our tour was cut short but we only needed a moment inside to fill our imaginations to the brim.
i just love the way nature is taking back the space.
