Over the course of the last few months, the team and I have been working behind the scenes putting together a small collection of tools and gifts that are specially geared towards farmer-florists and home gardeners. Each and every product in the Floret Shop is a favorite of mine and something that I personally use, recommend and love.
To celebrate the launch of Floret’s new line of holiday gift collections, I’ve decided to throw a little party here on the blog where I’ll be giving away a few of my favorite items from the Floret Shop.
Today, we’re continuing the party by giving away one of Floret’s beautiful new Postcard Sets.
Chris and I love photographing flowers almost as much as growing them. There’s nothing quite like that quiet time near the end of the day when the sun starts to set and casts a gorgeous golden light over our fields. During that glorious hour before dusk you can usually find one or both of us out among the flowers, capturing the ephemeral beauty of their blooms.
As you probably know by now, one of my favorite pastimes is “decapitating” flowers and styling their pretty little heads in interesting ways such as creating big ombre blocks of color. Incredibly, I’ve shared just a fraction of the photos we have taken over the years. Our computer is clogged with literally tens of thousands of images of flowers (and kids)! After fielding so many eager requests from Floret fans for copies of our flower photos, we’ve finally put together a collection of our top 25 favorite images.
This sweet little set makes a great gift, a pretty addition to your office, or key ingredient in your New Year’s inspiration board. And of course you can use them to send notes to family and flower friends through good ole’ fashioned “snail” mail. There’s something so special about getting a little handwritten note from a loved one or friend, don’t you agree? These pretty postcards are a fun, flowery, personal way to bring a little brightness to someone’s day.
